Angel Food Ministries FAQ
Here are common questions about the program:
Who is eligible?
Everyone is eligible to purchase food from Angel Food Ministries. There are no membership fees or qualifications. If you eat, then you immediately qualify.
Is the food fresh?
Yes, the food is fresh and is restaurant-grade. No stale or damaged food items are supplied.
What kind of food is included?
The list of food changes every month so you should come back each month to see what is available. Sample items are sausages, meatballs, ground turkey, onions, potatoes, waffles, rice, muffin mix, and dessert.
Each box is designed to feed a family of four for one week, or a senior for almost a month.
Can I order more than one box of food?
Yes, you can order an many boxes as you need and can afford.
Can I order only the special items?
Yes. You no longer have to order the regular boxes before you can order the special items.
Do I have to pick up my boxes?
Yes, you or another person you designate on your order form must pick up your boxes in person during the posted distribution hours.
Pickup is at the church. Follow the directions below. The church is located behind the blue warehouse.
Are there any refunds if I am unable to pick up my boxes?
No, since food is perishable, we cannot offer refunds for food that you do not pickup.
How & where do I pay?
You must pay for your order before you pick it up. You can pay with cash, a money order made out to Harvest Community Church, a certified check, or food stamps. Payment must be received by the ordering deadline. You can drop off your payment at the church office during normal office hours. The deadline for mailing your payment is 5 days before the deadline.
Online payments can be made directly through the Angelfood Web site.
From I-81, take Exit 20 East towards the new Wal-Mart. At the second light, turn left onto Rt. 11 North. Go approximately 1/4 mile, turn right onto DuPont Rd. The church office is located in the parking lot behind the blue warehouse on the right.
